Cobalt announced it will debut its Association Management System product line at this years ASAE Annual Conference in Boston. This product is built on Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0, the very latest version of the CRM system that is creating such a stir in the corporate world. The benefits of a powerful Customer Relationship Management system are combined with all of the traditional association management needs plus our web portal technology and executive dashboard reporting tools.
This product will revolutionize the way associations buy software. Until now, associations were forced to pick a custom AMS software vendor and were then chained to that vendor for future system enhancements. These systems never integrated well with other mainstream business applications or your web site and always required lots of expensive customizations. Cobalt's solution is different.
Because Cobalt's product is built on the Microsoft CRM platform, It integrates easily with the systems you likely have in place today-Great plains, Exchange, Outlook, Office, etc. It is highly configurable to minimize the cost and time to deploy. We have a well documented API and everything is exposed through web services to make those member self-service tools on your web site a reality. This and the exploding community of Microsoft CRM system users and plug-ins being created by third-party vendors, is what really makes this solution the way of the future. Whatever your association needs, either Cobalt has it covered or a there are several vendors with enterprise-grade applications already written for Microsoft CRM that will fit.
The new system is available immediately and implementation with select clients has already begun. The product licenses are sold per user like similar to Microsoft products and can be purchased outright or leased. For ultimate flexibility, the client has the option to host the system themselves or through Cobalt.
Cobalt will be giving demonstrations of the system at booth 255 during the conference. As of yet the product's name has not been announced but there will be a contest during the conference where attendees will be allowed to submit names and vote for their favorite product name.
