Cobalt displayed its line of data management solutions at the ASAE annual Association Technology Conference & Expo as an exhibitor again this year to promote its association, certification and accreditation management software. Held at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center again this year, the conference focus is on preparing organizations for the future by discussing technology issues facing associations today, discussing ideas and resolutions and presenting cutting-edge solutions from industry leaders and was attended by more than 1,200 people.
Among these industry leaders, Cobalt’s products were well received and generated an enormous interest due to the need in the marketplace for a flexible data management and communications solution integrated with an organizations web presence and the productivity tools, Microsoft Office and Microsoft Exchange Server, already in place.
Cobalt’s products are known as the Cobalt Association Management Suite and the Cobalt Certification Management Suite, and the Cobalt Accreditation Management Suite. All of Cobalt’s products are built on the customer relationship management (CRM) concept. The CRM concept is the idea that in order to grow an organization and ensure its programs meet the continually changing demands of its constituents, the organization must be able to build and track strong, well-defined relationships with its members and/or certificants and then extract information useful for achieving its goals from the data it collects. Cobalt’s software provides the perfect structure for organizations to implement the CRM concept because it is built specifically for the specialized needs of associations and certification boards using an industry standard CRM platform – Microsoft CRM.
Cobalt’s products are a flexible platform that provides secure, central data storage with a familiar, very accessible user interface that adapts easily as requirements change. They provide the tools to automate tasks and streamline workflow to alleviate much of the paperwork and manual processes involved in tasks like processing applications and renewals. In addition, They include many online member services such as profile information updates, registrations, applications, renewals, payments, directories, forums, job boards, status reports, etc. These features greatly improve staff efficiency and enhance benefits and service for members.
